Music has been a big part of my life and I made my first music sculpture when I was a student. It was a hand shaped in C-septim over a Morgan guitar that I named the "Jesus grip". It was inspired by my childhood three-part song at the Maranata meetings of my friend and my mother's enthusiasm for Aage Samuelsen. In 2017, I borrowed | The Takamine guitar by Vidar Rogstad to have as a template and has since made guitar reliefs with different designs. I chose Takamine because it is Bruce Springsteen's favorite guitar and because I have fond memories of being taken to concerts by an old boyfriend who is his blood fan.
Here I take the guitar form a step further and let it turn into a musical reptile.
